Melanotan II is an analog of the peptide hormone alph.a-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that induces skin tanning. Melanotan II has the additional effect of increasing libido. Lion, for experimental purpose, could a fictional person use this if they are on accutane?

From what I have researched, you need about three (3) 10mg bottles for your first tan. but that lasts a couple months. Then you need to buy another bottle for maintenance of the tan. When your tan goes away you need another bottle.
From what I hear it is not yet approved by the FDA (Not that that matters around here) but $300-400 for a tan. I am fair skinned and would love this stuff but I am not yet ready to pay that much for a tan. Maybe if I was in competition. Its a new product and you are paying top dollar for it. I would probably pay $150 for it (for three bottles), so I will wait for the prices to come down.
