Injection bruise

I did my 1st ever injection in my glute 2.5 days ago and everything seemed to go fine. However, my glute now seems to be really sore, like a charlie horse or a deep bruise. The spot looks fine as there is no discolouration or anything.

I assume this is normal but just wanted to make sure. So, any opinions?

Totally normal. My first glute shot was a 1" pin (too short) loaded with Test Prop. Swelled up something fierce, hot to the touch I was limping around like crazy for two weeks. I had to convince my chick that it was a huge spider bite that had gotten infected. She almost made me go see the doc!

I get spider bites 5 times a week. I have this weird allergic reaction. I get really strong and muscular.

I feel as though I've done enough research. As I posted above I assumed this was regular. I was really just looking to make sure I didn't have an abscess, which I did not think was likely.

Virgin muscle syndrome mate...but keep an eye on it as you can never be too carefull..........
