Come on guy.

Couple of things here...
1) An irc channel requires alot of poeple coming on it to become popuplar enough to be worth it. Unless Mirc adds your server to there list it really isn't very likely. There would not be many new members because people can't stumble on it like this site that is available via www. Specially since there aren't bot's so it'd be pretty much a risk of hastle.
2) IRC sux :P Used to be good for warez and mp3 and smut. But there's bit torrent now for that... and if you wanna chat there are all kinds of messenger's.
3) Call me cynical but i think you just want everyone on there to give ya some numbers.

agreed, Mirc is cool if your in a gaming clan or something, but it's useless now. Good luck trying to get people to get on it, you have to have some computer knowledge and know a little bit about channels ect and thats just going to confuse people. Besides, isn't that what AR is for?
