the problem with the bass is it wasnt mastered and it lacks some sequencing but I ran it through a compressor and it sounds a million times better now. Its ran on a 16 bar loop, the tempo is 110 bpm with a hit every other bar (a kick 8 bars out of every 16 even at a 110 bpm is a A LOT faster than the standard 4 bars every 16 at a typical 140 bpm which average trance is) i know exactly what you mean though.
but a few quicks facts, i took 5 hours to remix (i usually waste about 24-48 to just lay down the foundation) the original tempo of the song is 90 bpm so if i made it any quicker than 110 the beat would have merged, i had to sacrifice a lot of tradition and the version i submitted is what i call my "impatient version". The variation every 32 to 48 bars was neglected for no real reason. And Im going to do a lot of work still. But hey, good to see someone whos got some deeper insight into trance production. Have you produced any tracks or do you just mix them in Acid Pro or something, just curious..
