    correcting some one/proving wrong

ok im a trainer. today at work one of the other trainers who has a 4 year deegre on this shit was talking about the protein intake and HOW IN ORDER FOR PROTEIN TO BE ABSORBED BY MUSCLE IT SHOULD BE ABSORBED WITH FAT IN THERE.

ALSO HE WAS SAYING HOW SUCROS IS THE SAME AS DEXTROSE.

IM MY OPINION AND KNOWLEDGE I KNOW THAT IN ORDER FOR PROTEIN TO BE ABSORBED THE BEST IT SHOULD BE TAKEN IN WITH HIGH GI CARBS THAT SPIKE YOUR INSULINE LEVEN MAKING IT MORE POSIBLE FOR YOUR BODY TO ABSORBE PROTEIN.

ALSO IF THERE IS A CHART OR SOME WEB PAGE THAT I CAN FIND WHERE IT SHOWS THE DIFFRENCES BETWEEN SUCROSE AND DEXTROSE I WOULD APRECIATED. (MEANING LIKE GI CHART OR SO).

    THANX ALOT

maybe he meant as opposed to taking protein alone. like for example pro/fat is better then just straight protein? to the lay person sucrose and dextrose may as well be the same thing, both are simple sugars, but they are obvioulsy different. a trainer should know that.

A certification means NOTHING obviously, as most "trainers" don't know shit about nutrition at all.

They only know how to show you how to use the equipment, but that's not what delivers physiques that people want.

Your trainer friend is a bonafide f*cking moron.

shit i feel good lol...but seriusly is there something that i can find in the web. i was trying to search but i dont find it. i want to prove him wrong that protein does not get absorbed into muscles only with fat.

If that were the case, then whey protein would be something that would never sell being that it can't be absorbed w/out fat. Same w/chicken breast, turkey, etc.

You shouldn't have to prove anything to this guy, just give him a cue card that says "COMMON F*CKING KNOWLEDGE".

Be done with him, ignore him, move on w/your life. People so ignorant I don't even bother with, there is no reason to, they are already stupidified.

I would have said, "Well, you might have the degree in hand but you evidently didn't learn jack shit the entire 4 years".

yea but i mean this was brought up in another thread. about how id only choose a trainer that has a body that id look at as a goal. From all accounts these moron trainers cant look all that great with the garbage they spew. And you Steve0 are at 9-10% bf if i remember correctly? Next time there is an arguement just lift your shirt and say "my abs and cut frame beg to differ".....that will shut his fat ass up.

hahahah, yeah i actually did that once, i dont like to " show off " persay, because there are plenty of dudes out there that could put me to shame anyday of the week, but i live in a secluded area, were fitness is slim to none there are only hand full of trainers in my area which can be really good for ones buisness or really bad, so the way you look is almost more important than your personality or how you blend with your clients, which is why im so surprised he has clients in the first place. But like i said before its all about who you know.

doesnt sound like youre much better of a trainer than he is bro.

and as far as whichever trainer has the better body, that doesnt mean anything either. the better looking body is not always the healthiest, but if thats the result youre looking for then thats a different story.

"those who cant do, teach. those who cant teach, do" (...yeah i know, but not all the time)

your argument isnt correct because these people not only dont look good, but are giving bad advice as well. if they didnt look good, and had sound advice your argument would hold water. but if you look like garbage and spew garbage......only a novice would listen to you because they assume you are more educated then they are. steve0 knows his stuff..... i dont think he'd need advice from an overweight trainer spewing similar garbage to the stuff the original poster reported.
