Yea sounds like a real pain in the ass... he he...
I hate squats, lower back and ass always are in pain... but you gotta do em!
add in the dealift too, makes it even MORE fun!!!!hahahaOriginally Posted by boarder034
man, this kinda worries me...pain how? soreness is one thing, but pain in your ass can also be a sign of sciatica...and low back pain, if not simple muscle soreness (which i never felt from doing squats), is a red light...Originally Posted by boarder034

i'm not a i told you so type of person, but years ago, when i used to squat and deadlift heavy, i had the same opinion about those symptoms as you...and now, at age 30 and just having had a discectomy at L5-S1, i wish i had better sense back then...pain is not always good...and frankly, unless you've had an MRI of your back and know the condition of your discs, squats and deads are a frikin invitation to some serious pain later in life...

i8 think it is only a glute strain. if it was more serious, like sciatica ora radiculopathy, he would be still complaining of the pain and it would be a shrap radiating pain, not a localized pain
could be, and again i'm not second guessing you or tryin to freak this guy out, but mine started out as a localized pain, in my glute, then progressed...you don't just wake up one day with pain and numbness all down your leg, sorry...Originally Posted by Doc.Sust
in the end, you know your body best, and my best advice is this: don't let a doctor or anyone else tell you "you're okay" if you don't feel okay...there are plenty of professionals out there who will be willing to take the next step...keep an open mind
