    Blade: The Series

Anyone watch Blade: The Series on Wed. nights on Spike? I really enjoy the show, I just don't really like the guy who plays Blade. He's very mechanical and dry and I know that's the Blade character but Wesley Snipes just did it better--he was able to act robotic but also infuse some personality into it. Anyone else catch the show?

So far the blade dude suck's ass

I hope he starts to grow on me or I will be done with with the series

    He is no Wesley Snipes

P.S. Did you know that wesley Snipes backed down from a pay perview fight with Joe Rogan

No, I had no idea he backed down from any type of fight. I did know that Wesley Snipes was offered the role in Blade: The Series and turned it down. I also know that about 12 years ago Wesley Snipes dated Halle Berry and is attributed with making her 80% partially deaf in one of her ears due to domestic violence.

The first episode wasn't bad but the 2nd was garbage and it went down hill from there.

Some fans might tune in just to check it out, but “True Believers” as the great Stan Lee puts it, like myself wouldn't even bother.

Television can do no more than ape the grandeur that Marvel/Sony produced for us. Thus, even investigating it would be an exercise in futility.

This would only serve as a good orientation for kids not yet spoiled by the big screen blockbusters.

Typical, they put everything they have into that first subterfuging episode as a hook, then inundate you with left over waste.

And I keep watching waiting for something to happen. I read the comic book. The movies barely match the comic. This series doesn't even come close.

Carlos my man, truer words were never spoken. The context of this thread can't even bear the problem you're presenting here.

I'll start another called "From the Comic Book to the Silver Screen".

I liked her in the first episode. I thought they were setting her up to be bad ass like Blade. But now she is just the tits and ass of the show. Have you notice each episode they show her in her underwear.

I'd rather see her killing vampires tearing up shit than flashing her titties.
