    Knee injurys

Just curious about anyone who has has serious injury particulary those who are in the game a while. I was having a chat with the Manager in a gym I thinking of Joining after my workout. He basically told me he need knee surgery and has had the injury a while. His doc admitted that his knee was pretty ****ed. He has private insurance and all that. He was declined surgery bi and large due to his partaking in BB/PL etc. He was basically told they won't consider surgery for another 5 years. This seems pretty shitty to me. I am just wondering if anyone else has had the same or a similar response from their doctors.

Man i have never torn anything or broken in my knee but i have always had roughness and grinding in my patellas because of them tracking too much, its just the way my knees are and legs are that my kneecap always tracked and wore away alot of the cartilage under, right now i have seen a doctor who helped me correct the tracking more but still there is lots of soreness and pain.

I am only 26 and i am really concerned that when i am 30 i will be crippled if i continue to play sports and make it worse. The doctors say its normal and that many athletes have worse knees than me, but that doesnt help with the pain.
