man i got OWNED today

So last night me and my sister go to my grandparents house for dinner, and before we leave they had us each an envelope, it contained a check and they say "this is for school" (im thinking for the school year,books, etc etc) which im figuring ok awesome because I got alot of bills and stuff right now im expecting like $100-$500.. the check is for $1,500! I stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods on the way home, got a new gym bag (was planning on getting that already) but then also got new shoes and an Under Armor shirt (came to $135). Then I was online all night looking for a new PDA (was planning on getting one also but reluctant because i didnt have too much extra cash, now i was woooooo). Didnt order one because i feel asleep. but I feel asleep so relaxed knowing that my vacation to Florida is paid for now, my books, my PDA and basically my entire first semester expensives

I get a call this morning from my dad, he says, "did your grandparents give you a check last night" i was like yeah...
"Yeah I'm gonna need that, they give us that every year, its for your tuition, dont cash it just leave it in my room"


While although it's nice that my parents pay for 99% of my school it woulda been nice to be set for a long time

Sell weed in college. That's what I did. My parents paid for school and my room and board so I had so much extra cash from selling weed in college that it was ridiculous.

I probably had more money to burn in college then I do now making ~$100K and having to support myself and my girlfriend.
