What's up guys, I was wondering what the best way to clean a needle after using it to ensure safety for the next injection.
I have alcohol swabs and everything like that, so let me know what you guys do

you do not clean needles you throw them away in a sharpes container after using it once,you must not reuse needles watsoever..............

No, You should not be touching the needle to any non-sterile surface when drawing from an amp, so no need to change out.

personnally i would still and do change up the needles,for what they cost id rather do it myself............

You're prolly right, I unlike most I know actually use a filter needle for drawing from an amp-so I guess I wind up swapping pins anyhow.

Wtf! Cleaning and re-using pins!
If I hit a blood vessel and have to pull out I change pins. Not worth it.
maybe this guy needs to see the close up image of the 4 needles that have been used once, twice, 4 time and and six times!

I always swab the top of the bottle with an alcohol swab before pentatrating the rubber part also.

your just asking for trouble when reusing needle. I dont want an infection, absess, or even worse..like everyone said, the extra few cents is well worth the better part of your physical health and safety.

Changing the needle= 15 cents, Abscess= god know whats! Change it out.

the best way to clean a needle, say if you drop it on your carpet, get a kleenex wipe it off and make sure you blow all all the dust off the tip and your ready for your next injection!I want you to look for a speacial on TLC that aired a few months ago its called "the man who's arms exploded" its about greg valentino, you will get a kick out of it he use to use dirty needles and it destroyed his oil filled freakish biceps!

Always use a new needle cuz the more you use it the more it hurts due to it getting dull. OUCH

I don't see how you could use a needle more than once anyways. I don't know about you guys but it is dull enough after just drawing out of the vial. I couldn't imagine how dull one would be after using it over again. It would be like tryin to stick a spoon in your ass.
