I'm a woman who has been on Deca for maybe 8 weeks. My bf says it is a low dose. About a month ago my voice began to crack and now it sounds deeper to the point where relatives and friends have commented. I did have some increased facial hair (not awful, but noticable) and I noticed a little bit of a larger...well...you know...

I stopped it about a week ago because I just got freaked out. A lot of stuff I have read says side effects like these are permanant, My boyfriend says they are not, his nuts shrank and went back to normal when he stopped etc. Other than feeling like a man, I like the results... but I just want to know if anyone on here has any experience of these types of side effects going away. I wasn't on that long and this is the first thing I have done except for some Anavar and Growth about a year ago (no side effects.)

PLEASE HELP!!! I know a lot of those sites I have read from are government anti-steroid sites meant to scare you, so I thought I'd ask here. THANKS!

I should add what I added there... It was 75mg Deca every 8-9 days stacked with 30mg daily of M4OHN. I'm 32, 5'3, 137 lbs.

Welcome to AR and I hope that the effects aren't permanent for you. I've known several girls that have used gear and I don’t have any real positive information. Unfortunately the side effects you are experiencing can be permanent and 8 weeks isn’t a short time. Sorry for the bad news, but there’s always hope that these effects will reverse themselves. Perhaps some women members can give you some personal experience and reassurance.

It's not like he held me down and injected me. I should have done the research myself. Period. But I didn't and now I am looking for answers/support. HAd I found this site earlier and had the input of more experienced people- WOMEN -maybe I wouldn't be so freaked out. But I didn't. I asked the only people I know - professional bodybuilders - but not female ones because I didn't know any.

Anyway, Comments like that are NOT HELPFUL nor are they neccesary. I Love my boyfriend and he loves me.

From what I have read virilization is irreversible (increase body hair, deeper voice, pronounced adams apple, clitoral enlargement). You were right to discontinue. I hope you can get some good advice from the knowledgable female members here on dealing with the sides you have.

Don't give up. Some females have stated that the virilization effects are reversible. I imagine it's dependent on dosage, duration, and personal chemistry.
