This is the way I see it:

If you are so important that you need to bring your cell phone in the gym, then you shouldn't be at the gym. Unfortunately here in Vegas the majority of douchebags wear the bluetooth earpiece in the gym. I can mildly understand this though in Vegas because everything and everybody is on the go 24 hours a day so it is just normal to see people with cell phones at the gym.

to go even one step futher.....the bluetooth thing in the ear REALLY pisses me off b/c if I have my headphones on & I see someones mouth movin....I think they're talking to me....EFFIN TOOLS....NO CELL PHONES IN THE GYM.

at my gym ur not allowed to have a cell phone unless ur at counter or its in locker.. no phones in pockets while training.. u can have a mp3 phone i guess.. just gotta have calls on silent and not take them

It doesnt really bother me when people have cell phones because i always have my ipod so i dont here them ring or anything. The thing that does bother me is when you want to use a machine or something and there is someone sitting/standing in your way on the phone and they wont move....thats just ignorant sh!t there.

Anyone who uses a cell phone in the gym needs to have a weight dropped on their face too. Unless it's life or death, you can take the call when you are done working out. I can understand if you are a doctor, or firefighter, ect. on call. Otherwise, leave your cell in your gym bag.

damn you guys are really emotional about cellphones in the gym

i wouldnt carry mine to the gym for fear of it gettingcrushed by a dumbbell if i kept it on my lap (near my pocket) or someone stepping on it.

Ive heard those bluetooth phones ahve caller display (can anyone see the joke in this?)

once i was getting spotted on bench by this guy and while im doing the set his cell phone rings AND HE PICKS IT UP. I yelled at him for that one.

Another time another dude spotting me, his cell phone rang and he ignored it and even pushed out a few more reps till his phone stopped rnging, that was the better thing to do.
