powder shipment???

i was just about to make an order with an overseas supplier for about 200g of misc. powders. I'm just curious...how much of a role does this terror alert shit play with customs? are they gonna be checking everything now that customs found those liquid explosives the other day??

LL, unless someone here is employed by customs(in which case I don't think they are going to say)I don't see any way you could get a factual answer. IMO, your odds are prolly about the same as always, but that is just my .02.

If anything I might put a hold on it for a month or so, we have short memories and lapse back into former behavior patterns quickly.

I'd ship a smaller order, or break it up into two or three seperate shipments.

I think the current situation is mainly contained to passenger airplanes, and not cargo. Could be wrong though.Havent heard about shipping being delayed as of yet.

200 g really isn't a large package. I suppose if they opened it they would think so. But as far as the actual size it's just a larger envelope from the powder source I've gone through.

Anabolios is right 200 g isn't big at all. If your source is good then the amount you order shouldn't be an issue.

I seen that! They said that 40% of all shipments still go unchecked. I bet it wont help the our situation any. When they showed some of that liquid explosives it looked like gear to me. and it was about 200-300g's
