True, but you have to see it also thru a different perspective really. Who said you have to find Mr./Mrs. Right in your own backyard? I mean think of military people for example, alot of them find their significant others while stationed somewhere else correct? Same concept really. MAJOR may be a down to earth good guy, his heart may be in the right place - so there is no reason to believe that the girl in Canada can't be the same way. The same "what ifs" that are being associated with her all the way in Canada, can also be associated with him from her friends/family. He could be this way, doing this etc etc..

This is true. I hope it works out for him. Just something i couldnt imagine doing. I have had friends whose parents got divorced b/c they meet people via the internet. I just have always viewed it as negative, but maybe some people are into it.

Things are not always that way in reality – sucks but its true. Many ppl have had crushes etc for ppl they have meet over the net but reality is often different – you can’t feel, touch or kiss a screen.

You don’t have to deal with them on a daily basis and when you turn it off, they r gone till you want them around again.

Human contact, in person is not this way.

i am from canada, and one provice over from BC, i spent my summers there till i was 16 and it is a beautiful place, you can go skiing then come down and go to the beach later that afternoon...there is lots to see and do, but try and get to know here, the city will wait, but if you find you dont ike her the city wont matter. if you like here, then there will be plenty of time to get to see the city.
