Weigh ins are actually pretty cool, I usually download the vid from the UFC website after it comes out. Anything free MMA-related is cool in my book...but yes, I'm sure they look at it in a financial aspect as well. It is a business, after all.

I would like to see the weigh-ins personally. I always look up the pics and stuff from it, its interesting to see who comes in looking like they are in shape and just seeing the fighters reaction to being right in front of their opponent.

sunday night on FSN, pride is showing pride bushido 12 for free. i think its going to be edited, but they claim 9 fights in two hours. should be good, and its FREE!!!!

I don't see Pride just coming in and "taking over". UFC has a pretty loyal fan base here in the states, and I personally like the UFC better than Pride because of the cage and the UFC's fighters. Plus, I just think it's more exciting. That's not to say that Pride doesn't have better overall fighters, but I really think most people give Pride fighters WAY too much credit.
