    A little advice needed guy's

I currently weigh 200lbs and I am just about to start bulking. I know that I need to take in 400grams of protein per day but how do I know how much carbs and fat I should be taking in ? I thought I would go with the rule of 2grams protein to 1 lb of bodyweight.

OK guys,I have just done a small draft of what I think I need. I have worked out that if I take in 400g protein,400g carbs and 200g of fat, this gives me 5000 calories daily which I will then seperate into 8 meals. Does this look ok ?

5000 cals? are you going to be on a cycle? What are your stats?
I 'm going to be taking in 2.5g protein per lbs. of body weight.....is it needed? probly not.
    Fat seem quite high also.
    Post the diet.

you pretty much have to do trial and error with your body to see what works. if you have a very fast metabolism obviously you have to eat much more than someone who doesnt burn calories fast

but post your diet in detail so we can check it out

    good luck

Sorry guy's,I should have mentioned that I am 24 yrs old, have been training 4 years and starting a cycle of
Weeks 1-4/6 50mg or dbol each day
Weeks 1-15 500mg of test E each week
Weeks 1-14 400mg of deca each week

I must mention that I am a hard gainer and that is why I have chosen my choice of 5000 calories per day. I know I have posted my diet with my question but I am trying to work it around the advice of you guy's.

    Lightbulb

i like keeping carbs = to protein when bulking and fat as minimal as possible w/ only EFA's to keep functions going and blood thin, so like lets say u need 5000 kcals which IMO might be a lil high for u but wat ev... what i would do
is first FIGURE out how much kCal u REALLY need lets say ur 200lbs?
    9-11%bf?
    so 180lbs LBM +-5lbs?
so u need about 4100-4300 quality kcals a day depending on activity but that should be VERY adequate for attaining ample LBM w/ minimal fat

    400g Protein = 1600 kCal
    400g Carb = 1600 kCal
    thats 3200 kCals right there
throw in about 100-120g Fat and u have 1000-1200kCal right there
thats about 4380TOTAL and that IMO should be ample

im so sick of seeing people go nuts w/ bulk thinking they need insane amounts of kCals to attain their goals when its NOT MASSIVE quantity they need but CONSISTANCY YOU HAVE TO EAT what ur suppose to eat EVERY SINGLE DAY dont skimp, dont skip, and dont cheat
not raggin on u at all bub just making a generalization about the majority of people WHO BULK
