I did martial arts for 23 years and it was the best thing ever for stress relief. at least while i was in class, i felt great....now once i left the building I was back to being stressed, but for those 3 hours a day I was focused on something other than my problems!!!

i wanna do martial arts as a cardio... i think it could work and would be great to learn and practice.. i was thinking just straight boxing? nothing too high tech. straight up standing on my 2 feet moving my body and arms

I started training mma a while ago and i'll tell ya what, i hate my job and im always stressed out. When i go train it takes my mind off of everything and i focus just on training. I would have to say that it the best stress reliever ive ever had.

Yoga, and meditation are great for relieving stress.

I like to work with my hands when I'm stressed. I'll paint, or do some wood working. Even make a model car. Just something that takes time and patience.

I recommend you read a book called "A Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. This book is broken up into 40 very short chapters, with one day representing one chapter of reading. I think you'll begin to place your daily stresses and focus on different things after the 4th chapter.

    Good luck!

not knowing the exact premise of the book, i feel my stresses and focuses are appropriately alligned with the goals i have set forth in this area... just lookin for momentary stress relief, not so much "you shouldn't stress over this"

but thnx, i'll look into it.

Here's an idea go splurge man ,buy something for yourself and lose youself in it like a street bike or a new hobby or find some good literature to inlighten yourfelf.Get around some positive people that shit rubs off dude.Shit like this happens in phases to remind us that were still human if everything was always great we really couldn't recodnise happiness. So take this time and learn from it and how to deal with your emotions it'll pass

If you havn't been on a street bike doing 180 or 200mph then I would definetly suggest it if you got riding skills, adrenaline is the cornerstone of euphoria
