Filter question

i have a vial of gear that has rubber pieces and particles floating in it. They are from sticking the rubber top with the needle pushing the rubber into the liquid. How do I extract the gear without drawing the rubber pieces and should I use a syringe filter.

If the particle are big that cant be suck by the needle,just avoid it.but if they are wery smal i recomend filter it.
