Chip foose rims, 350 TPI that has a new computor chip, headers, dynomax exhause, its a ( sadly enough ) auto, less than 100k. ( 60 thousand miles ) Any one here or no of anyone interested in a sale or a trade let me know. Its the one in my pic.

I would go right to the dealer and trade it in.

What you're trying to do might be a little difficult on here -- probably next to impossible. You know sight unseen, condition issues, shipping/delivery, etc. Besides if you use z28 in your moniker you are a camaro guy?? Camaro guys don't buy TA's. You might try eBay ... I bought an 02 SLP SS from a Mercedes dealership in Ft Lauderdale on eBay and had it shipped to Seattle but both eBay and the dealership warrantied it and it was delivered in pristine condition. Cost me 1,800 to have it delivered. Good luck.

actually, Camaros, are my favorite cars, I only have this cause, It was appraised at 15500, and I bought it for 4500. So, now, Im bored of it, and I do have 2 camaros, a 1996 z28 convertable, and a 1976 rally sport with a 396 ss V-8 out of my dads 1967 camaro. I love to take time off of work, and If someone was interested, Id drive within reason to show the car first. and I know it can be done, cause I bought my 96, from stockton California in 2002. I know its a feeble attempt, but whatever right? you never know

    Sell it privately. Then buy a GTO or F-body with a LS1, LS2, LS6, or LS7.

Could also look into a Z06? Those are amazingly sweet!

Hey, as long as you don't mind driving to have someone check it out, you've got nothing to lose. Have at it Bud. Yeah, I'm into Camaro's myself and had several, plus hi-po Chevelles. Can't stand vettes. My dad had a dealership in SLC and when he went home my older bro and I would go sneak out the performance cars. He had a pristine 63 wedge head Plymouth Fury I took and totaled -- I was only 17 at the time, but he never freaked out on me. SLP has a new all alum. 402 stroker I'm thinking seriously to order. With a turbo, or supercharged can get around 600hp. There is no substitute for hp and as the girls say, size does matter!!! Good luck

Nice choice man!!! My 1996 Camaro has an LT1 with LT4 heads, procharger supercharger, 7.5 PSI, hooker headers, dynomax exhause, its been bored out, balanced and blueprinted, 410 gears and a tremec 6 speed. thats my baby. As for buying a GTO, 1- they are illegal in Canada, ( new ones ) for the stupid reason that they only have a 3 mph crash bumper ( canada requires a 5 !!! ) thats fu*ked up eh? 2, I think they are nothing than an over dresses grand prix built in australia. No Good ol American Muscle car shold be built over seas!!!. and I am selling it privatly, I just thought Id post it on here for the hell of it. Never hurts to try.

Your Camaro sounds like a badass ... love hp and torque. My 02 has an all aluminum LS1 with LS6 heads and oversized LS6 throttle body. Suspension has been upgraded and tuned for handling/road racing. It has only about 380hp, but it has unbelievable power/torque range and has never been beat. I'll race the street just long enough to prove who has the best and never been beat. A car like yours no doubt, but I've raced most everything, including bikes. I get the mid 12's but would do better with lower gears -- it has a top speed of 184 but yet only turns 2200rpm at 75mph. I've driven big block, big hp cars but never have seen the performance this little LS1 puts out. It's probably like your car that on city streets you really have to pay attention to what the car is doing cause it can get away from you really quick. At times when it breaks loose it can get twisty, even at 70-80 mph passing on the freeway.

Sorry, I didn't notice you were a fellow Canuck.

Ok, so scratch the GTO then.

    Still LS1 FTW though!

Mine is ok on the street, I do need to do the suspention next summer though. With 325/45/18's on the back, and 225/55/17 on the front, its great strait line, but sucks ass cornering. With the 100 shot of NOS, Ive went 12.01 at 117 MPH, but I had factory size tires when I ran that, I bet I can do that with out cheater juice with these tires. PS, Every car can be beat, Ive taken older style bikes, Ive beaten a viper once, and Ive lost to a factory mustang, or camaro before too, it is a lot about the driver, not just the car, if you cant control the car, it dont matter how much power you have, you may as well not race.( probably why I beat the viper!)

At mid 12's and your beating bikes. Sure they weren't mopeds. Also mid 12's is a quick car. You would be below average street racing around here though. 9 years ago i had a 10 sec mustang and i wasn't the fastest.

I didn't give all of the details, just highlighted them. Obviously it would be hard to beat a bike straight up from standing start. At 30mph it is more doable and that levels the field a bit and I wasn't referring to a Hayabusa, or other big-block bike, but a little more than a moped. And obviously I couldn't beat every car driven on the road and I gave carguy credit that his car would be able to beat me, but some cars shouldn't be driven on the road. Any 10 sec car is a beast, even on the strip and not many are street driven. It's obvious you would have beat me. Mine is setup for road racing and does it very well. The point I was making is that given all of you guys with the monster hp/torque is that for some damned reason the little 347ci hybrid all aluminum LS1 SLP put in this particular car, which was a special order even for them, with a measly 380hp, does really well and truthfully I don't get it. It's just a really balanced car, that I had nothing to do with, that I got lucky in buying off eBay because the Mercedes dealership didn't realize what they had. Where I live it is all hilly and surrounded by mountains and is a kick in the butt to drive. You guys can have the brute hp and going stop light to stop light, I just like going up against the road cars like porsche's, bmw's, big audi's, etc. on roads with curves. But, my wifes cousin has an old studebaker with a supercharged 502 and I will not get into it. Too f'in scary!

I'm sorry. I was a dick. I went out last night with my friend and his car. Bunch of cocky kids with there ls-1 with exhaust and think they are the shit. Bad timing sorry. Drag Racing is big around her but road racing is fun as shit. There is a lot of legitimate low 11 high 10 sec daily drivers.

No way Man, I didn't take your post that way at all, I didn't see anything wrong with it -- I live in a big city so there are many beasts on the streets, I just don't mess with them. I'm not a glutton for punishment.

Here in calgary, Canada, street racing is getting pretty bad, the fu*king government is wanting to crush cars they catch racing! Mind you, if they pass that law, they will have to catch me before I let them take my car. I love to race, and I think street racing is fine, as long as there is no people that can get hurt, ( pedestrians ). Its not that big a deal. I dont weave in and out of traffic. ( unless I get a bad case of road rage cause some damb asian cut me off again.) ( no offence ). I think its those over cautios 3 ft tall and old people that cause more accidents than us younger ones.
