how is powdered egg vs egg beaters?

just wondering which you guys would prefer as far as nutritional value? i mean, is any of the protein affected at all by the dehydrating processes in the powdered forms of egg protein?

right now i'm not exactly using egg beaters cause it has a bunch of crap added to it as well. i have one that i can't remember the name of but it's similar in that it's pasteurized, only it's just 100% egg whites in it.

now, personally i'd rather just be able to go with the powdered form as i'm sure it would be far far cheaper for me to use that in a meal as opposed to this overpriced pasteurized egg stuff. so, can anyone say for sure if it's comparable? thanks in advance.

I'm using dehydrated egg white powder myself right now, looks like I'm eating rubber made with lasers but you're right, can't beat the cost!

    I think they're fine... (I hope).

There is a great bulf food store near my place. They sell stell cut oats and egg powders and malto etc etc. I know people buy the powdered shit all the time but personally have never gone that way. BUT, I do use egg white protein in a blend for my PWO shake.

Although I dont know for certain whether its nutritional value is altered too much when its turned to powder I do know food is always gonna be best for you in its most pure form.
