    GSP vs Diego In Canada

    This was on the rumor page for mmaweekly.com. If this is true im gonna look so forward to this. Id like to c diego win but GSp is way 2 dam good. 1 of the main reasons i want diego to win is so every 1 cant stop sayin hes not a good fighter or hes overrated cuz lets be honest like him or not hes a good fighter and have proven it by beatin sum pretty decent fighters.

    Also i was on sherdog and apparently Matt hughes isnt fightin Gsp because he refused to fight in canada. If dats tru ive jus lost repect 4 him.

    GSP will kill Diego, I am not impressed by his wins. Why would you lose respect for Hughes. Matt is an Army farm boy who's roots are so deep into the U.S. you'll never get him out of here.

    The recent sherdog radio show diego was on it with the guys and he didnt know of any plans to fight GSP himself!!! I would wait untill UFC confirms it themselves before i beleive it, MMAweekly has always been known to start speculation too early.

    Ok, Deigo is ranked 4th in the ufc and is years behind hughes, GSP and Penn. He could easily lose a rematch to Diaz or Karo. GSP's stand up is years ahead of Deigo's. His wrestling is better and BJJ I am not sure I understand GSP was awarded his brown belt and Renzo has praised him. Penn is years ahead of him in the stand up, lifetimes ahead of him in BJJ and his sprawl is so good. I doubt Deigo would take him down. Hughes, Stand up about the same. Wrestling Hughes 2 time d-1 collegiete all american. Deigo didn't wrestle in College. BJJ hughes I believe took 3rd at adcc(even it was a work with horn) he would have at the lowest placed fouth. Deigo got knocked out of that tourny. So once again that leaves him 4th. Karo better cardio would win, Diaz improved sprawl(ie sherk fight) could win. Deigo is so far from invinicible. On the Riggs fight he was caught off balance, the knee knocked him out. You can see him quickly get to a foot and knee base waiting for Deigo to run into him, however Diego threw a knee which knocked him out. Also Riggs is a gate keeper at best, Gassaway sucks. So break it down and you see Deigo is not that great. He has good cardio, decent wrestling, decent ground control, Poor stand up, Good Bjj. See when he break him down you see he is nothing special and you will see that when he fights one of the top three.

    Gsp vs diego would be an interesting fight. Gsp would definatly win, but i have to give respect to diego. I've never been a big fan of his, but he's undefeated and he has fought his way through some talented guys.
    As for matt, i totaly agree with him. Canada would be great if there wasn't so many damn canadians up there lol. Plus it's cold and everybody speaks french.

    I live in Canada and i really like it, but you are right to many french people LOL and right now its cold.

    If Matt refuses to fight only because its in Canada its very unprofessional and dumb.
