    Travel and Diet??? Any suggestions

I am a commercial electrician... I build and maintain electrical transmission lines, cellular, microwave, and radio towers. (Yes I have to climb VERY high on a regular basis.)

Here is my problem I spend at least a couple weeks a month in a motel room somewhere and it is absolutly killing my diet.... The right foods do so much for me in the phases of my training and I can tell I am being negatively affected by not being able to eat right.

Is there anyone with any suggestions or prior experience to at least let me get my diet reasonably back on track under these circumstances????

    Thanks Bros...

Okay the night before your heading out to a motel grab a cooler electric from Home Depot, Wal mart etc.. and store the food in there.. If the the motel is bugging you about it just hide it in a duffle bag, but they should be to worried...

My sugestion is if u dont want to buy a cooler..

    is One Can Opener

Tuna, Turkey, Chicken Salmon in a can...

Oats raw measured in a few ziplocos

This is very basic and you can get by easy.. I mean unless your picky about taste but this can get you buy EASY and Cheap

I would either eat out of a can or go buy some cooked chicken from a deli. Or even get a chicken and salad kebab and throw away the pitta bread, swap it for some whole meal bagels or rice cakes.

Sorry to hear that but man that was funny. Check the garbage cans behind KFC or better yet behind Kenny Rogers Roasters! jk. I wish I still have a Kenny Rogers Roasters by me, that chicken was the bomb!

Yep. I like the way you think Fez.

I've been out of town for the last 3 weeks and I have a duffle bag that I keep with me at ALL TIMES.

I keep a bunch of cans of tuna, a bag of oats, a bag of almonds, some canned salmon, a scale, a can opener, a big container of water, a spoon and small tupperware bowl.

I eat tuna out of can, oats raw and salmon raw.

That has covered all my macros for the last 3 weeks. Not ideal cause it would be better to switch things up, but definately gets the job done and better than eating shit or not eating.

I also do this at school frequently, but bring a cooler and keep preweighed cooked chicken breasts and preweighed oats so I can leave scale at home.... without this I would NEVER get all my meals down.
