Receiving International Gear In Canada...

I'm thinking of placing an order with a good reputable source.
Has anyone ever had problems getting gear in Quebec, Canada?
Would it make a difference if i use my credit card or use western Union?
Would it be wrong having it shipped to my house?
Whats the best way to go about getting gear shipped to Canada?

Credit card leaves paper trail in case busted, only will be busted if unusually large shipment. I ordered internationally and got my shipment. I live in western Canada (BC). Had it shipped to my house. Once shipment comes in, i would not bring it into the house and take it to a buddies house or a few days, in case ur being watched. Im quite paranoid as u can tell lol. It took about 2 weeks to get to me.

Here's my question. Did you have the shipment sent in your actual name? The reason I ask is that normally if you get a package shipped to you and if you are not able to be there when it first arrives, when you go to the post office they require ID to retrieve it.

Depends if u wanted it sent so u have to sign for it. If no one is home, and u wanted it sent so u sign for it then yea it should be in ur name, unless u get a buddy to use his name and for him to pick it up. Otherwise if no signature is required you can just send to ur home address in another name and if u get busted be like its not for me,, no one lives here with that name. They ship in padded envelopes, no big packages. My first package i put in my name. Then as i thought about it, my next package i put in another name.

I'am in vancouver, i'am also wondering if people had a good success rate in shipping their gear in. I brought some back on my own from thailand, strolled through customs, don't know if its going to be the case for Canada Post.

kind of large, but hopefully ur supplier breaks it up into several packages.

Well if you live by urslef no there is no problem getting it shipped to your house, if your really worried you can get it shipped to a mailbox place. Getting the gear in to canada depends on the source.. for example some sources gooo the extra mile and hide the complelty in some other product.
