yes two diffrent pins and syringes..
I.E
1 shot in the Left Bi ( needle syringe set 1)
2nd shot in the right bi (needle syring set 2)
personally i dont do that...i just the same syringe twice, theres no reason to use a whole new one
If you dont you have a much higher risk of infection
exactly ^^^ hell i will give you 15cents to save of an infection
Always always be concerned about using clean sterile tools. Never skimp on cleaning, swabs, pins etc.
It is the ONLY way.
Please heir on the side of saftey.
I just fill one syringe with my total dose, inject 1/2 on one side, then go straight to the other side and inject the remaining 1/2. I alcohol the vial and injection sites thoroughly prior to inserting the syringe. Since I'm not re-inserting the used syringe in the vial I can't imagine there is much, if any, risk of infection this way. Someone (who knows for sure) please correct me if I'm wrong.
Unless you've had a bad infection and been through hell because of it you won't need to ask these questions and you won't take any unnecessary risks, no matter how trivial they seem. Setups are so cheap, why take the risk, no matter how slight?Originally Posted by limpdin
You should be good to go. But you do raise the risk level by abit.
Pins are a one deal shot and that is the most sanitary way. Now the risk is very very low but still none the less you should always heir on the side of caution just to be safe.
Our world has changed so drastically when it comes to new little " bugs " out there. We should always be 100% on guard and protect ourselves.
My sentiments exactly bro!!!!!!!!Originally Posted by ecivon
Good point. I wasn't really concerned about the cost as much as cutting the accumulation of used pins to dispose of. But you are right, that's not worth the risk.Originally Posted by ecivon
Go to a pharmacy and ask them for a hazardous waste container then just drop it off at the hospital for disposal when it is full. The container is pretty big so it will take awhile to fill it ( specially with wee slin pins ). Nice and tidy and safe disposal.
Actually you might even find a pharmacy that gives them out for free and disposes of them too.
