How long do you have to wait till you get a raise?

I just found out by one of my co-worker that my employer do not give raise till 2 years of employment. WTF! Usually is within 6 months or one year but two years. Well I'll stick with this job for now till I find a new one.

I work 40 hrs, Three people just quit ( they been working here for more than a year or 6 months) because it seems like the owner of the company is CHEAP. He wont give a raise till 2 years of employment no matter what. I guess is just their policy! Well shit I wont wait that long, I got bills to pay. I would stick for 6 months or one year but I think 2 years is just basically pushing it. That just ridiculous.


get this they only contribute 20% on 401K..
