    Hurt Lower Back

    Well my friend and I were dickin' around and I picked him up, threw him over my shoulder, and ended up bending backwards by accident... My lower right back feels sore and I can't do some exercises at the gym... Any advice, or just ice it and pop some pain killers?

    Got any radiating pain or numbness in your legs/feet/toes? What about when you stand on one foot and try to raise a leg up, like a hanging crunch? Try that with each leg. What about when you bend over? How about while twisting side to side? Do you have to stand up and sit down slowly?

    No matter what the answer to those questions are, yeah, ice and ibuprofen are probably good ideas. Rest is good too.

    None of that, all I really feel is soreness there and when I flex my back it hurts, when I try doing lying Tricep Presses it hurts... Anything that incorporates my lower back

    I'm the same as you i got an injury in my lower back and i am able to move normally without any sudden or abnormal pain, but the pain that is there is just this constant mild one which makes me keep thinking about it.
    Its been a few weeks now and i havent done any squats or exercises that would stress it yet hoping that it would go away...but this week i have made a new exercise routine because it seems that i wont be coming back to squats anytime soon, i just replaced them with two exercises Lunges and Sumo's while holding dumbells in my hands, i'll see how that goes thsi week.
