Some whey products contain a small amount of BCAA's. Scivation's XPEND is an awesome BCAA product and I would check it out if I were you. I take it in the morning and just prior to working out.
kinda like protein, they are just broke down so the digest very fast. I used to use a BCAA before and after lifting with a pre wokout meal/shake about an hr before and my bcaas after with pwo shake.
The Amino acids help break down the protien so it would be best to take both but some protiens if not most have low amounts of your BCAA
i take them and creatine during my workout.
i sip on 20g bcaas during my workout, use whey afterwards
