Steelers release Joey Porter...

So i come home from class and was watching cold pizza or something on ESPN and they were talking about the steelers releasing joey porter..

First of all being from Pittsburgh and a huge steeler fan im shocked and kinda pissed. But i started to think and i was thinking maybe the infamous lab bust that went down this week had something to do with it because i read that a doctor for the steelers purchased a bunch of gear?? and its no secret that porter is a beast?

Anyone else think this might make some sense?

I think Joey Porter has too much value and too much pride to come back at a cheaper price.
