do any chemists out their know the god damn freezing point of pure Ethylene glycol.th

this shit is really pissing me off. i am trying to do a chem homework probelm, and im not sure why they didnt give us a number that should always be given, its not somthing we are supposed to solve for in this probelm. So far, its going to take me 2 ****ing hours to find the god damn pure Ethylene glycol freezing point in which it will take me 34.67 seconds to do the problem.

you'd think their would be like a god damn chart with freezing/boiling points and kfps and kbps in the back of the text book but no, they want us to pull a ****ing magyver out of our ass. The whole point of this is we were probably supposed to know this value from an example probelm in class in which that number was given in the problem, well, that page is missing.

so much help would be appreciated...i tried google, but all i get is pseodo asshole webpages that dont tell me shit

    so thanks in advance

nope, -17 doesnt make sense since my solution is -11......it needs to be less than -11

You know the melting point and the freezing point are the same thing (except for some in amorphous compounds like wax). The only difference is which direction you approach it from.

hahah, whats even funnier is, it turns out you dont need the freezing point of ethyline gylcol to solve the problem. you need the freezing point of pure water hahahahaha.
