How do I cut or decrease prolactin?

Hey gents, ive tried everything under the sun to jump start my sex drive again... After the last cple cycles it took a nose dive, even after correct PCT. So i'm guessing maybe its my Prolactin that may be affectin g my drive?? Any help is appreciated. Sharky

How long has it been since you completed your PCT? I know for me it takes a while to feel "normal" again. I believe thats why most suggest to take time off to make sure its back kicking 100% ass again? What did your PCT look like as well and how long has it been since you completed it? What did your cycle have in it?

You need to get BW done. Its imperitive.

As for an answer to the thread's title...Dostinex (cabergoline) is effective at lowering prolactin levels.

But as stated above, get some BW done so the doc can pinpoint what may be contributing to your dilemma.

Thanks guys. I've had the blood work done and all was good except my test was around 280, which even at 35 is low. But my free test was fine , my estradiol was good. My last cycle was an 8 wk test only and my pct was clomid, nolva, hcg, proviron and HGH that I'm still on at 3ius a day... I've been in this game for yrs and honestly the libido has been fvcked for the last 2 yrs

Hmmm, I am going to have to let some more experienced guys answer this one. I know after my cycle cabergoline helped some but nothing helped me out more than time. I know it sounds werid but it truthfully takes me a few months after cycle to feel back normal again but you've said for years. Have you tried using Horny Goat Weed or anything to stimulate your drive back or Tongkat Ali?

Yeah I've done the tongat ali before twice, once it helped and the other i had no response. I'll give redkat another round unless someone has a better brand they could recommend???

I know where you can get some powder Tongkat if you would like me to give you the site, I've ordered some from their before it is good. The powder smells like ass though and you have to mix it in something tastey to hide the flavor. LOL Its cheaper than buying the capsule form in my opinion.

Your test is a bit low. What is your libido like when you're on cycle? If your libido is lacking when your test is higher, it might Cabergoline'll do the trick if prolactin's the problem. But honestly, if your prolactin's eleveated 2 months after your cycle.. you might have a different issue than just post cycle blues, like a benign pituitary tumor. Get your prolactin checked. How's your blood pressure also?

Blood pressure is good. So I should just ask my new Endo this wk about checking my prolactin? Sounds good and will do, thanks for all the advice gents... And I'll cross my fingers there is no tumor since I'm on Growth Hormone..
