I am having a weird "injury"? with my back. I have been boxing trying to get into shape for a fight this month and when I first started training again I had the normal aches and pains all over. I noticed that I also had a lot of weakness in the muscles of my lower back when I was sprinting or boxing. I started working my back and abs a lot and the weakness went away. That was about 5 months ago.
In the past two weeks I have noticed that when I box my lower right lumbar muscles cramp really bad. I quess its a cramp? They feel really weak for a while and the longer I box the worse it gets. I have a tigthening sensation in my low back and it really gets tight on the right side. its to the point now that I have to stop training after about 30 min of work! when I stop the "ball" in my back goes away but it feels really weak feeling all the time. even when I stand up to walk I can feel a weakness in my muscles down there.. I have improved my flexiblility greatly since I started boxing again. I continue to work my lower back with weights. I noticed that it doesn't cramp when i lift or run! only when I start punching. It doesn't hurt at all when I'm not doing anything just a weird weak feeling all the time. could any supplements or dehydration trigger this weird pain. I've had a problem with dehydration when I first started boxing again. I got cramps in my legs a lot, but I really pour the water and sod/pat supplements to me and that has stopped. I also started taking some Forze-t? about 2 weeks ago in order help my test levels. it has been low for some time. a gym buddy told me that it would help raise it. Would something like that cause muscle spasms? Sorry for the long post, but this is getting aggravating. Thanks for your help
