    depends on bulking/cutting

bulking i use cytogainer has like 80g's of carbs and 60g's protein and if im really trying to get bigger i even put 1/2 cup of ground oats in with it and make it like 100g's of carbs

cutting or lean bulking i'll use 2 scoops weigh protein with 1 cup ground oats so i can keep the ratio of carbs/protein closer to 50/50 as opposed to cytogainer etc.

i know people that use vitargo and like it but its expensive so i dont use it....

i hope im not sounding rude here.
but there are like thousands of thread about this.

But i do say to you dont read, way too much and try find out what everyone uses you just confuse the crap out of yourself.

what i do sugest is try simple sugars see how that goes.
then try complex, more good quality carbs and see how that goes.

    see what works for you.

i personally have soy milk lite with banana.

i seem to find it working great for me, but see what works for you i guess.

thats me just training biceps and calves hehehe.
since i cant train shoulders/back/chest and squats.
cause of life time injuries, but i work with what i can i guess.

mind you this was on high carb day and i went alittle overboard so the stomach came up alittle bloated.

    35% Protein
    45% Waxy Maize Starch
    20% Dex

About 40gms Protein and 80gms Carbs. I'm trying this whole new crazy about waxy maize starch to see if it has any benefits over dex. So far i like it cause it really doesn't give me a huge bloat like solid dex does. Waxy maize starch is what is in vitargo supposedly.

A buddy of mine who is an amateur body builder suggested that after my workout I consume 40 grams of whey protein, 5 grams of glutamine and 60 grams of carbs from apple, orange or pinneaple juice. He also said not to use fresh juice, to use the ones that have sugar added.

He suggested this to me on a cutting diet. Does this make sense to anyone considering the large amounts of sugar?

Yes the sugar causes an insulin spike which helps your muscles absorb the protein.
