Rotator cuff surgery and a bicep rupture

I had surgery 3 months ago on my rotator cuff. About 4 weeks ago while following all the precautions I "instinctively" reached for something falling off a counter while my arm was in the sling.

I actually didn't even catch the item. Then bam...pop in my arm and pain. I iced it down and in two days it seemed fine.

But I found out that I ruptured my upper bicep.

Two weeks later I saw my surgeon and he said, man you ruptured your bicep. (Poopy variety rupture.) My jaw dropped because it didn't hurt anymore and I had not seen it out of the sling to notice the difference..

So he tells me one, I should have come right in. Two, I will probably have to live with it and it won't limit strength.

My problem is it looks like hell and now my arms are not close to being symmetrical. I'm not entering any contest, but dang, I want to look like I did before.

I know it might seem petty considering worse scenarios, but is there anything I can do? Is it actually too late to fix?

If anyone has any information I'd really appreciate it?

    Man I'm still bummed.
