    100% egg protein

    Heya guys

I was wondering whether this product is a good enough replacement for real egg whites. Its caled "100% Egg Protein". I don't like wasting the egg yokes, and its alot cheaper!!! It states that one serving is equivelent to 7 egg whites!!! I just can't help thinking its not as good as the real thing.......

    Thanks for advice guys, Cheers!

Never heard of it, it sounds too good to be true though.

It says on my label that you can take it RAW!!! It is pasteurized and can be added to shakes. I love this stuff with bananas, mangos and apples.

lol@"can't help thinking it's not as good as the real thing"

Sounds like you've got Optimum Nutrition's 100% Egg Protein.

If you look at the nutrition facts v.s. that of an eggwhite, you'd see that it is equal to 7 eggwhites.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Egg Protein is basically dried eggwhites.

So yes.. It's 'as good as the real thing', because it IS the real thing.
