    Shakes? MRPS?

    One of my really good bros is competeing in 10 weeks, so he still trying to put on LEAN ff, mass during the last few weeks before he cuts hard. He's asked me a nutrionally shake question and I said I'd find out what the pros do. He NEEDS to take in 3 shakes. He's on the road this month a bit and shakes are his sole source during a couple of imp. times. He needs a good shake for waking up to hold him till his first meal. So a shake at 6am.....then a meal at 8 and 11..........he then needs a good shake or pwo formula for the car......then he needs one as do I prebed.......what products do you reccomend?


    Thinking about cytogainer, maybe 2 scoops for his post workout. Would that be better than a half cup oats chopped in his shake.???

    Prebed? Muscle milk?

    search 2...... PWO meal

    and for the first meal I don't recommend a shake......I believe in solid meals.......

    I'm playing......but I'd love to know some experiences with cytogainer, myoplex packets, Up your Mass, and Muscle Milk LIGHT......anyone use them? Gains? Lean? Dry?

    I'm worried about the sodium content #1, and the ingredients #2...along with results...


    Would just oats and whey be the BEST alternative for a shake pw IF YOU couldn't get a meal in for 1.5-2.5 hours?

    I would go with cytogainer. Little fat, lots of calories to hold you for that long of a period.

    You jeopardize quality nutrients when taking in shakes. Especially those MRP's. The best MRP, in my opinion, is Prolab's Lean Mass Matrix MRP. Good source of carbs and they follow the 40/40/20 rule of thumb.

    Either of them is fine as long as you are taking in the correct number of carbs that falls within your PWO requirements for your current goals.

    Myoplex is better than McDonalds. Take that for whatever you want.

    Ok....cytogainer will be purchased, but for now I have 3 tubs of whey to get through.......so, with 50g of whey at 165lbs, I need prob. what 30-40g of carbs pw? Then it'll be 2 hours before my last meal of the day.....just how my schedule will work.......1/2 cup oats, bcaas, and 1 rice cake = 40g of carbs....HATE the watery look and I tend to hold water.........this keep me somewhat high and dry....it's the least of my worries, but if I can have my cake, etc......Mav youve been a great help. I took your other advice and am going cardio 2x a week, very mild and training 3-4.......3 good rest days

    So, what's my new PW formula? Those new rice cakes are killa!!!!! You tried? Choc. pb?

    Precontest - POST W/O RTD?!?!

    I have a buddy at the gym who entered a physcial transformation contest in the area for $100,000. He's asked me a few questions and stumped me here. Is there a good RTD or post shake you would reccomend for someone who is getting ready for a show, cutting, i.e. no bloat, no water retention and someting to hold him over for a few hours (apparently, cant get a meal in for 2 hours after he trains"........should he go with one of the low sodium RTD that have 15-20g of carbs and 50g of protein? He's about 185 and 5'10-11.....

    I never have and will never LIE.....weights, diet, etc.....cmon.......it was 100% true that I have 2 friends competing whove asked me ?s.......I also need to find out a few things for myself.........
