Do any of you guys feel weird walking into a tanning salon when a bunch of other girls are there? I enjoy tanning, but i hate being ragged on for doing it. Anyone else feel where im coming from?

You know what I can relate to you here. People aske me oh you fake and bake or whatever? Speaking like its a bad thing...but 1 thing is for sure, aside from the "mental idea" that people think tanning is bad, every single person says I look better with a tan. I had taken like 6 months off a while ago since i got a bunch of tattoo's but once I started again a while ago even my grandma says I look better LOL.

Who cares man. The only people who rag on you are people who are just either jokin around like your friends or people who dont even matter. When people meet you for the first time ever they will just think you are tanned since they never seen you lighter and they will think it looks good for sure.

Yeah, its normal here as well. Especially guys who workout and are conscious as to their looks. Thats the difference between FL and upstate NY as well. In FL no need to tan, up north you look unhealthy with pale skin during winter

We got tanning at my gym... I don't use it.. but a lot of the guys love the fact that they can tan right there....

I just take Melanotan, lot easier and cheaper IMO. Plus you get a hell of a lot darker than you could with a tanning bed.

I used to hate it so much that I would use one of those expensive 7-minute beds just so I could get in-and-out as quickly as possible.

I still hate it, but I use the regular beds. I'm so insecure when it comes to metrosexual-type stuff.
