Acne treatment during and post cycle?

Have any of you ever looked into doctor prescribed acne treatment during or after your cycle. I've just started another cycle after being off for 6 months. I've always had a little bit of acne on my shoulders when starting and coming off, but after this past cycle I still get acne on my shoulders...Not horrible, but its consistent.

Any suggestions. I'm running this cycle with ed injections to try and keep blood levels more stable, hopefully that will help a bit

    Wrong forum...

Check yourself in at the "AR spa" forum...tons of acne fighting info there.

    Good luck,

    To help answer your question....

I once ran a doc-supervised accutane treatment...accutane should be your last line of defense against acne...I hate remembering what the sides were like.

Right now, the doc has me on two different tropicals that have effectively kept any acne in check...one is a topical anti-bacterial gel called clindamycin and the other is tretinoin gel, a.k.a. Retin-A...this one-two combo is the shit and I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for an excellent topical remedy for acne with minimal sides.

    Good luck,

Tretinoin...better know as microsphere gel @ 0.04%..it is realy strong gel medication.also can dry your skin so you can use any moist lotion.Clindamycin is good but i prefer Doxicycline oral 100mg/day with dinner at night,so you can fight the acne from in side and out side, and Benzyl peroxide wash when shower. This is a "bad ass trio"..is this fails, then you can consider accutane. But for my patients, accutane is not the first option.

Try some benzyl peroxide like LPR said. Retin-A leaves your face on a constant state of peeling and makes it incredibly sensitive to UV rays. I was on Retin-A for a while and if my face hit anything there were skin cells all over the place... it was kinda nasty.

Accutane is some incredibly harsh shit and normally isn't given unless you have the really deep cystic acne.

The best stuff I've ever used is Proactiv. I saw those dumb infomercials for it for years and then one day I ordered some off ebay and it WORKED! My face has been totally clear since I started using that stuff. I've never used their body wash but make sure its something with benzyl peroxide and not the salicylic acid...
