coin collectors?

my son has a very well paying job and for the last couple of years he has been coin collecting. i seen it all now, yesterday i went with him to the coin shop and seen him pay 25 bucks for a penny(a old one at that)....i am like son.....if i pay 25 bucks for a penny, id want it to be a brand new one! you know you have too much extra monies when you do crap like this. anyboby else ate up with coin collecting?
