    Bilatteral Injections

When you do Bilateral injections, do you use 2 different pins, or do you use the same pin?

I read that you should always use new pins even with single shots. One to draw up (through rubber top) and a new one to stick. If I follow this routine, that would be 4 pins for each shot (when doing the Bilateral method).

yes use different pins, but you can draw and shoot with the same pin so you only go through 2 each time not 4...youre using insulin pins anyway and most likely you cant change the pin on them anyhow

I have always just used one pin. I do have an alcohol swab on hand and make sure both sights are cleaned before injecting.
