    Joint Pain

I was run over by an old lady about 10 weeks ago. She hit me going 45 mph and I was on my bike. Needless to say she won. I returned to the gym for the 1st time Monday. I'm having tremendous pain in my shoulders and elbows. It feels like someone drove railroad spikes into my shoulders. Anyone have any suggestions for speeding up the healing?

My orthopedic surgeon is a knob. He says give it a couple months and then we'll set up some tests. I was thinking of starting back on some gh. Any suggestions on anything else?

    Thanks guys

HGH is prob your only option for helping in the repair process of ligaments, tendons etc...I have also heard that deca can aid in some repair, but I think deca acts more as a lubricant on your joints so it might be an option aswell...im sure some of the vets have some better advice but thats my 2 cents.

I would start simple with some MSM, glucosamine or chondroitin. Did you do physical therapy? If no. Why not? You need to take advantage of that for sure. I have had multible bi-lateral knee repairs and even with my medical knowledge I do physical thereapy and learn something new everytime. Hope this helps.
PS. Hope 5.0 did a mandatory retest on the broad for hitting you
    Good Luck

Yep.. I'm still doing physical therapy and yep the police sent in a re-test for her. In her statement for the accident report, she said she saw me and saw the other lane was clear, but didn't know why she didn't stop or get over. Docs said I was lucky to live. Any smaller and I wouldn't have survived. If it had been a kid on a bike she'd have killed them for sure.

ibuprofen 800mg 2x a day, otc pills are commonly 200mg. Probably a lot of inflamation in there. Keep ibuprofen use to 2 weeks, longer can cause stomach problems.

I go back to the ortho this coming Monday. I'll run the ibu by him. He does have me on Indomethacin. Any thoughts on the gh? What dosing if so for accelerating healing? I have almost 2,000 iu's on hand.

    Thanks

What about NSAI's (non-steroid anti-imflammitory)? When you go to the doc, tell him you've tried Ibuprofin at 800mg's and not helping much. He should write a script for the anti-imflammitory).

I had a total douche for a doc. Had joint pain bad in the rotator cuff area. Couldn't lift my arm to put on a shirt. I did Physical Therapy for about 2 weeks and didn't get much better, so he suggests ibuprofrin also. 2 more weeks of PT and Ibuf, still not much better. Then anti imflam.. for two more weeks a little better but still in pain trying to lift the slightest amount of weight. Decided to rest it for about 5 months and then got back to the gym, still a little pain lifting anything above my head or benching. Started running dbol and test and viola! Much better!!

Ibuprofin is an NSAID, and a good one. 800mg is a high prescription strength.

Indomethacin is also an NSAID, so you shouldn't add IBU, I'm sure your doc will tell you the same.

I was thinking there may be a problem with Indo and Ibu. Any other suggestions? Thoughts on gh? Maybe low dose 3-5 iu to speed up healing.

Well its was actually a Giant and only 5 days old. So I guess cycling isn't for me. What do you think happened to the bike?

Any thoughts on low level gh or anything that would speed up recovery?
