Question on Anavar

I have a few questions about Anavar. I was wondering how it is typically cycled? Alone? Compounded? If compounded what is it best used in conjunction with? One of my main questions I have about it is since it is a non-aromatizing steroid is there a need for pct? If so what is the best form of pct to use inconjunction w/ var?

Hi I'm a newbie to the site,

I've been researching anavar too, I am going to be using it for cutting along side clen and of course lots of cardio, I really don't want to get any bigger so wont be including another in the cycle.

From what i've read and inferred is that firstly you need to define your goal with it, if you're beefing up you should be going with another steroid -according to a few sites they say you can pretty much take it with anything because of it's versatility (it doesn't bulk you, low water retention [if any], no major side effects*, good for cutting and of course good for strength gains).

http://bodybuilding.com/fun/catanavar.htm - suggests to cycle with halotestin or winstrol, however, this is just from what i've read - no personal experience i'm afraid.

What i've read... on low dosages PCT isn't necessarily needed, however, on higher dosages i'm guessing it'd be needed because it is still an anabolic steroid afterall, despite being mild.

I'd love to know more myself from an experienced user, I am very close to getting some to start cutting and getting a bit more defined; dosages and cycle advice and of course PCT information, alot of the sites seem to say the same thing in different ways, not sure whether they're being informative or trying to sell me the product...

Anyway, I hope this is of some use - as i've said this is from what i've read, we all know how biased the internet is, basically a huge marketplace where it's hard to find relavent and factual information!

*I say no major side effects - I can't guarantee this is the case, this is the general feedback from what i've read!

Top man, very informative - have read both, not sure on the PCT side still but certainly you've got me in the correct frame of mind for this, seeing how much you and ecto9 had done workout wise.

No PCT needed for VAR I've been told.

Great thread here..........I was told by many on this site in a previous thread to not use WINSTROL and VAR together.......the link on this thread suggests the complete opposite. It says to stack WINSTROL ED or EOD at 50mg with the VAR.

I'm so confused......all these great resources contradict themselves.

I did 75mg var ED for 8 weeks along with IGF-LR3 80mcg PWO for the first 4 weeks and then took 4 off and did 4 more again. I dropped 3-4%bf because of my diet and my weight stayed the same because I gained 7-9 lbs of muscle. If i added clen and ECA im sure I would of saw even better results.

I also did 2 weeks of 100mg clomid ED just in case

you can stack winstrol and var together but that can stress your liver, also they essentially do the same thing

Dupa Im looking at running 60mg of Var for 8 weeks, My PCT will be made up of Nolvadex and Clomid.... Now I just got to get my hands on some as for the sources around me are sky high because they cant really get any of it... Im really looking for the strength benefits of Anavar as for I Box and would like to keep my weight around where I am. My Stats are I am 22 years old I weigh 165 10% BF, Ive been training for around 3 years steady 5 years all together. My Diet is down to the T. I am very cautious on my diet. I think anavar is very mild and is just what I am looking for!

I'm tempted to go for 20mg for 6 weeks, just to test the water, then do a real spring cycle for the beach season :-)

Found a source, it's very expensive with kinda limited gains; I've read a fair few times that a guy should be doing around 50mg at least, problem is I worry as it's my first time, if i get gains of 20mg now would that bode well for 50mg on another cycle to keep the increases going? If after 2 weeks no gains, i think i'll up the dose and lower the length and go for 30mg. Oh well, waiting game now for it to turn up :-)
