Need help girl troubles

ok guys i am 18 yrs old and i've been talking to this girl for a little over a month now, like we hang out every day, do everything together, we are basically boyfriend/girlfriend but without the title, so yeah we always in touch, we even make love and everything... i want to call her my girlfriend so badley, but she just got out of a long relationship and isn't ready, she says she has to be ok with herself before she can be ok with someone else, plus she is going away to college in the end of august... i live on long island and she is going upstate so it's not too bad.. anyway it's just too hard doing all this stuff, her not being my girlfriend andknowing she is going away to college, it kills me inside, i'm the kind of guy who wants a relationship, likes all that lovey dovey stuff, i won't have sex unless i'm in a relationship, i have made love to two girls in my life and i turned about a whole towns worth of ***** down because it's just not me.. anyway she says if it's worth the wait then i should stick it out but i tell her i can't do this no longer unless we are in a relationship, it's just going to be too hard when she goes away.. she cries i know she cares for me she gets so jealous and cries all the time when i talk about this, she isn't those kind of girls that just uses people i know her... i really care for her and think about her so much and she does the same for me, but she can't have a relationship right now and i want one... should i suck it up and keep seeing her or should i just end it because i know i will prob just get hurt later when she goes away...

thats hard to answer but i would say keep hanging out with her. if you tell her you dont want to see her anymore now you may regret it once she's gone and you can't see her at all anymore...keep hanging out with her and once she gets hit with actually having to leave maybe she'll changer her mind about not wanting to be in a relationship.

At 18yrs old, you don't have a clue. So take this little "relationship" for what it is worth. Take it day by day and when or if she is ready, go for it. If you push her, she will drop you.

Besides shes going away to college and if you really think a relationship will last your sadly mistaken. She will go to college and find some other guy. Right now you are the "rebound" guy!! Dont waste your time or your emotions. Stop thinking with your heart and think with your brain. People make a lot of foolish decisions based on their emotions. It clouds them from thinking rationally. At 18, you dont need to hung up on some girl. You should be out living life and sleeping with all kinds of girls. here how it is going to work, this was my exact situation the summer before i wnt away to college with this girl who was going to a different school. hook up with her for the rest of the summer, enjoy it, after that, it is done, when she goes away to school, it wont work for either of you. there will be PLENTY of new girls the rest of your life, dont focus on this one, it wont work, no one should be tied down their freshman year of college. she wont be able to commit, and if she does, it wont last once she gets to school

As a "Rebound" guy here, I would milk it for all its worth. Make the most of it and have some fun this summer, don't get to wrapped up in her or when summer ends and she leaves you'll be heart broken. But if you keep it fairly casual and don't put to much pressure on her it could be a great summer fling and when she comes home on break from school, who knows..........

be 100% prepared for her leaving and going to school and banging a bunch of guys. cut all emotions, have fun for the summer and that is it. she WILL be banging dudes upon going to school. my senior year of college during first semester (first 6 weeks!) i was f'ing 3 freshman who would call their guys while i was there/go see them every weekend. its college, thats what happens.

good advice guys, i agree with everyone because i wanted to end it i told her i didin't want it like this anymore she would cry and shit and i would always go back because she would say how bad her life is and threaten to hurt herself blah blah yeah i'ma get some ***** seriously i've been thinking about her leavin all summer and i know it's going to happen, so yeah i'ma take it day by day and see what happens and just **** her as much as possible because damn it's good.. thanks for the help guys this thread makes me feel a lot better

i know SO many people who started college like this, by mid fall semester, most girls are loaded, pledgeing a sorrority, and acting like fools, it happens to alot of them , even the best of the bunch. what she says now,and what actually happens are 2 different things. the beauty of being in college is the chance to act like a fck up, and girls do it as well as guys. people make huge changes at this time in their life, some for the good, some for bad, some are permanent, some are temporary, but change will happen.

Just dont spend all of your time on one single person, its like the old saying dont put all your eggs in one basket! you spend all your time on one person and become attached then when its over you'll feel like you have nothing. besides if you were training as hard as you should be you wouldnt have time to spend hours with her every single day!

Your 18 and have your whole life ahead of you wilth plenty of relationships to come. She knows that too, that is why she is only friends with benefits so she is not "tied down" in case she choose's to go separate ways. It then in turn is not on her because you are not "boyfriend and girlfriend".

You have been around each other for 1 month, I could not image if you were around each other for 1 year. You would be obsessed. Take your time and don't rush and if it was meant to be it will be in the end. But don't allow her to get to college and "have her cake and eat it too."
