Good GYMRAT gym in Southern Cali????

Anybody no of any? I'm probably going to jion PowerHouse. Solid $ and amenities and it's in Burbank. Anybody got any good locations worth the drive?:

man i wish i lived closer to a powerhouse, probably the best choice around here. u know theres on near santa monica too right? about 25 miles from me, so too far.

The gyms kind of suck out here. Chain "health club" type gyms are pretty much it. There's the Gold's in Venice, where Arnold trained back in the day, but it's pretty small.

normally i wouldnt recommend 24 hour fitness but there is one thats fvckin huge in glendale right near burbank, maybe bigger than the powerhouse. u might want to look up LA fitness too, some of them are small but there should be some nice ones in that area.

I would go powerhouse if one was nearby but closest one that I've seen is in Mission Beach and like hell I'm driving down there everyday... I go to 24, it's an older one so the free weight section is bigger and it's low profile so I usually don't have to wait for machines!

I went to work out last night and it's solid. Really big and their expanding the gym. It's like a huge warehouse. I want a juicer hole in the wall but, like you said it's a chain stuff. I think PowerHouse is it. Couple nice pieces of trim roming around. No1 knows WTF there doing @ this gym eaither. Looks like amateur hr. I'll be scaring the natives when I'm throwing the iron around. Gotta get the gear 1st.

hi rent and real estate prices have killed all of the old hardcore gyms here. i work out at la fitness on la cienega, and it's full of hot chicks talking on cell phones and guys curling the bar at the squat racks.
