strattera question

so im being put on strattera due to the fact i cant concentrate worth sh*t in school(college, im not 16)....my question is is that ive heard that since its an extended release pill u can crush it up and it will only work for a few hours, I dont want to be on this stuff ALL day long, only for school, i have no problem eating or working out when not taking it...it says it will kill my appetite which is another thing i dont want....i want it to work for 3-4 hours, then outta my system....any comments would be much appreciated, i get my prescription tomorrow morn.... also i didnt know which forum to put this in, so i figured this was pretty close, thanks bros

I've taken strattera before and it did work for my concentration issues, but it had some bizarre side affects. I could concentrate to the "T" but I had weird sex issues from it. I could'nt really cum off of that stuff it makes your hydraulics defunct. You can get hard but you can't really get off.

As far as training goes I had no complications with that. I took extended release tablets as well.. I have'nt mixed it with AAS in any form however. The coating on the medication is what makes it extended release, so if you crush it, in theory it will not be extended release, however it can caus some sore stomach issues.

Hope this helps. If you have some issues with your ramrod after taking strattera, I suggest you stop. For me it just was'nt worth it.

strattera is known to mess with your kickstand for sure.

if you only need to concentrate for certain periods of time... just get a prescription for ritalin instead, since it is short acting... and then you're not constantly medicated.

one thing i forgot... that may be important to you.

i think a lot of people try strattera because it isn't a stimulant. Ritalin definitely is a stimulant. Usually people request strattera because they don't like the speedy side effects of Ritalin or other adhd stimulant meds.

not sure how this applies to this website or even how they affect your AAS cycle... but good luck and be safe.

rugbyswoll - it's not going to do jack by crushing it. that stuff takes over 7 days to feel the effects... it has a cumulative effect on the body. it's not designed for immediate effects.

just talk to your doc and get something else. also... i think you should post this thread in another section of the site.... it doesn't really apply to this topic.

so yea guys, today my throat starts hurting, i couldnt sleep last night, so i get up early this morning, drag myself to the doc, and apparently i have strep, i can barelly swallow...., i have a 100+ fever, im pissed, so im taking the pain and forcing myself to eat.....this sucks..... im with u tai, fvck strattera.....

I actually found the other week... i was going for it with this girl. I felt myself about to come... like the surge u feel before... but then it was just a constant surge for a few mins... like the awesome feeling u get before you blow just kept going then i didnt come.

opt for Adderall. generally they dont prescribe ritilin for adults. Adderall will have appatite suppresive affects, but can be overcome with discipline. Not bad. It comes in different mg doses and release times. Studies with it genrally say it causes some weight loss. This may be due to its appetite suppresive effects, or possble beta 2 and3 receptor activity. Not sure if it does have this activity but not sure. Def appetite suppresive though. Strat is long acting anf takes awhile to build a blood level. Adderall is immediate for the most part.

ya adderal is just methamphetamine minus it being methylated. so just "amphetamine". same effects, just doesnt hit the blood/brain barrier as hard.
