    Does Anabolic Steroids Affect Anesthesia ??

    I have to have my stomach checked witha camera this afternoon and they put you under...

    What affect does Anabolic Streroids have on Anesthesia??

    I remember last time I was being put under I told the I took some G a few days earlier and they didn't even know what it was lol

    IMO is always best to let em know if your having a procedure done .. Dental shit also... Some people get high blood pressure while on cycle which can be a concern in these types of situations .. Just tell em your on HRT .. I just think it is best to let them in case there are complications they at least know what meds your taking...

    Oh I forgot to ask you . Why are getting the Endoscopy done?? Do you think you might have ulcers??

    Yeh, it causes your veins and arteries to explode if your running more than 750mg of test a week...

    Of course not... Check the side effects and drug interactions is my suggestion, steroids havent been documented to interfere with anesthetics...

    take this from an anaestejsiologist, steroids affect your metabolism of anaethetic drugs so in general u will need higher doses to maintain your depth of anaesthesia. always tell ur anaesthetist what ur taking.. they are not he police they are there to care for you you risk a lot ie being inadequatly anaesthetised if you dont
