Like the title says, just got done making my first bottle of fina, and after the first use i notice a damn tiny piece of rubber stopper floating around in it. So am i screwed, do I just have to throw this away?

If it has just happened I would just draw it down, filter, and transfer to a fresh vial
what gauge did you use? i've had this happen a few times when i use to use 18g to draw. also, ive had some old vials that the rubber stopper was almost dried up and kinda almost crumbled/cracked when i jabbed it with an 18g.
After having this happen several times, I just started drwing with a 22g pin. It takes a little extra time, but the stopper lasts alot longer.

i have never had a problem w/ it lol
infact it happens all the time and i pull w/ a 21g so its quite common for me to suck up the lil stopper pieces..
all i do is start injecting and watch the stopper and when it gets in the chamber of the pin i pull the pin off w/ the rubber stopper (25g pin ONLY any bigger and it will go through) and replace it w/ a fresh one an keep going
NOW THIS TAKES A BOAT LOAD OF SKILL so i dont suggest it unless ur atleast half ninja.
yeah i wouldnt attempt what tia just mentioned...heard u have 2train beneath the great Suimyah for at least 4years before you'l be ready...im in my 3rd!lol yeah its happened a few times before just avoid the piece when pulling the fina, should be fine
