    hrt vs a steroid cycle

stupid question i am 35yo not seeing a hrt therapist but my test level is naturally low(as explained by my doctor)he was going to give me 1cc per week of test but i realize insurance companys suck and wouldnt pay so i am doing it myself. I have made nice gains but the question is when do i stop and what pct do i need. or is hrt lifetime? 5'10" 215lbs 12bf

No pct when your on HRT .

If you have been to a good endocrinologist (hormone doc) and they have ran blood test and determined you need HRT in most cases it is for life..

So some people on HRT just cruise on a HRT dose and than bump it up to do a cycle , and than just cruise again after completing thier cycle. No pct.

Yeah, hrt is a lifelong commitment, you're going to be replacing your endogenous test with exogenous test and it will suppress your levels. After being on it for years or so there is no turning back.

Think you misread me there lightwaytbaby, I didnt ballpark any figures for times on trt/hrt as im not an expert on it. Interesting point brought up though, anyone know how long it takes to suppress levels?

If it has been determined by a doc that has a clue that you suffer from hypogonadism and you do indeed need HRT its not really a factor on how much suppression occurs because thier body isnt making enough of the hormone on its own anyways. So the concern is to try to get levels normal through administering test . Suppression isnt really a issue from this aspect.

Just wondering, for HRT (or TRT) how is gyno avoided? Are AI's/SERMs just ran indefinitely alongside the test? If not, wouldn't gyno be a problem?
I know the doses are close to physiological levels, but still.

HRT is replacement testosterone, most people dont get gyno from normal test levels

Im on TRT and I dont need to run an AI

ok that makes sense merc...so is there an actual set of "time" per say?

for example if i did trt for 2 years, did many cycles in between, then after the 2 years, i decided to stop doing trt, and do a pct cycle. eventually would my natural test levels return after being suppressed for so long?

    In most cases no....

Hrt is usually for life ..

Its cruise on a low dose of test , than do a cycle and than cruise again.

    No pct .
