    hit the bone, my god.

so there i was, getting ready to take my first dose of test E. stupid me thought id just use a 1.5 23g. so i get in about an inch in, thought to myself hmm, might wanna get alittle deeper in the muscle to get the most out of my oil. i then continue and it got alittle harder to push in so i put more pressure to it and it goes in too quick and bam! needle stops in its tracks and i had THE worst pain, its still killing me. feels like my shoulder is gonna be out of commission for awhile, when it happened i could barely keep in my tears. will it be ok?

Sweet bejesus bro how long a needle are you using? How much do you weigh? And what in the world would is wrong with shooting your glute or quad?

When you pulled the needle out was the tip bent.....it would have bent if you struck bone.

You don't have to be small for an 1.5" needle pushed all the way in to hit bone in your shoulder. In fact I would say you'd have to be huge to be able to go 1.5" deep into your shoulder and still be in the muscle.

At a 145lbs. it's no wonder. No flame here Bro but you've got a ways to go before you start injecting yourself.

Can't say that's ever happened to me before but that just gave me chills reading about it.

I've also never used anything longer than 1" for the shoulders. Make sure you don't go too high next time either. Save the 1.5" for the glutes

Looks like that syringe ^^ has poop in it!

what a horror story! I have always wondered about hitting a bone... well now I guess I see that it hurts.
1.5 needle is a lil big for youre delt inject. go with a one inch. All you have to do is get passed the fat and inject into your muscle. a 1 inch needle will more than suffice for delt injections. Heck its even good for a quad inject for most in shape people. Defianetly go with a 1.5 inch for the glute though, generally people are a lil bit more "squishy" there.

They are sleeping when it is done, as part of a larger surgery, they don't even know it happend after two days. It is about the diameter of a roofing nail, and getting it into the bone usually involves a hammer.

At 5'9" and 145 lbs, you could hit bone with a slin needle. Why in the world are you using a 1.5" needle??? That must have killed dude, I would cry.

When getting cortizone shots I've had the doc hit the bone and I don't recall it hurting as bad as described......sure you didn't strike a nerve along the way.

What'll really make you cringe is when they arn't doing a bone marrow aspiration, but a percutanious screw placement in the spine. They hammer that sucker right into the pedicle of the vertibrae with no inscision. Then they shove a guide wire down the needle, take the needle away and send a 7 mm diameter x 50 mm long screw down the guidewire.

I see open spine surgery on a regular basis as part of my job, nothing bothers me. I saw someone loose 4.5 liters of blood last week.

Doctors are freaking stupid dumbasses when it comes to injecting shit.

They always use the same pin they drew with, they push too deep, and they always jam the plunger down in a half a second instead of going slowly.

But I guess they have the privilege of doing that because they're the ones who went to medschool and not us....
