UFC Fight Night Rocked!

Damn there were some good fights last night. Leben amazed me knocking out Terry Martin! Even he looked shocked as hell. The Florian fight was the only let down. It was obvious Din Thomas was hurt after he shot in. No one at that level just sits there and takes punches like that when their still fresh. What a stud for not tapping after he blew out his knee. Nathan Quarry looked good against Pete Sell, although his fighting style always looks ****ing awkward, but it works for him. It sucks you have to pay $40 for a ppv event after such a good fight card was free a few days earlier, but I'll still pay.

Anyway, the Leben vs Martin fight stole the show. Martin finally exposed and Leben getting a crushing KO victory. Leben's whole strategy was a complete change from him in the past. I saw alot more foot movement and nice inside kicks. Wonderful strategy and it worked to a "T". He did get rocked and just knew he was about to get KTFO and then Leben went for broke, it was literally like watching him say "Fuk it, if i'm going out, i'm going out banging" and BAM, Martin is out like a ****ing light. Leben put one more on him for good measure which I liked.

That was awesome.

BTW, Martin is definitely not ready for Anderson Silva like he keeps saying. He must even realize this now. This was a good wake up call for him. Martin should have killed Leben but he wasn't ready for a guy with a good chin and a good game plan. Silva is the sickest striker in the UFC with slick submissions and cardio for days.

Yeah...definitely looks like Terry needs to reevaluate his conditioning. Silva would do the same thing Leben started doing primarily in the 3rd round which was low kicks and punches and keep moving.

I think Martin would have a real hard time getting inside on Silva. Silva would probably keep him out with his range, and if Martin got close Silva would clinch and knee to the head. That's the problem when your short and stocky, it's easy for people to knee you to the head. Martin has great power but Silva has great everything.

I was there I loved all the fights except Terry, we both train out of the same gym and after Herc's lose at the Orleans 2 days later I am almost scared to show up at the gym Monday. Dino is sooooo gonna put a hurting on us I am really worried. But screw it thats what this is all bout. Someone gotta win and someone gotta lose. I give all the props to leben he went for broke and won. i cant talk bad about my boy Terry we train and spare with each other. Gotta start all over again. Only thing that pisses me off was Terry was primed for a "RAMPAGE LIKE" slam and Leben grabs the cage like a chicken. Letting you guys in on it now. UFC in Chicago next yr will have a ****en insane/sick fight card. Look forward to seeing you all here. have a ton of hotspots for you all if your intrested will your here.

Another prop i gotta give is, I used to dislike Leben. Thought he was a braggot, loud mouth smart ass punk. But we hung out after the fight at the Ghost Bar and he generly is a cool cat as well as Matt Serra. Awesome guys if any of you have a chance talk to them and you'll agree with me. I had a blast in LV aside from having my heart torn out watching Herc Hayes (IFO) and Terry (UFC) loses. Talk to you all later if I'm not dead LOL
