At my current workplace we have dozens of computers that we are allowed to use as long as the material being viewed in not innappropriate like porn. would a site such as this or places online that sell gear be considered innappropriate reading?

I'd rather explain to my boss why I was looking at porn (as long it was straight porn, and not people like pooping on each other or something), than try to explain why I spend so much time on roid sites. My comp has it's own internet connection.

I wasnt sure if a site like this would be considered inappropriate as most of the materials that are being posted isnt really offensive. most that post here are for informational purposes. i know that the forum site says anabolic meaniong steroids but there are also other reasons to visit this place nutrition info, diet, weighlifting, AR,etc. so how can a site such as this be viewd as inapproriate to you folks? i just need alogical reasoning in the event i get yeled at by my boss. thanks

Yes this is inappropriate for work.
Your visiting sites that sell and discuss illegal drug use. Even though steroids are a big deal to you and i. its still illegal

I 've read posts from guys in the military using DOD computers to look at sites like this. The comm guys used to be able to pull up every site each computer visited and when. NCIS and CID like to just sit back and watch people screwu up for a while before busting them.

at my work this would have site would have been off limits. but the most trouble was porn sites. they were some sick puppies at work. me i spent my computer time playing chess

This is not a site for work. The last thing you want is to be marked for havin any thing to do with steroids.I don't mind but people don't understand, and they are illegal.

Its work. Your supposed to be working. A lot of jobs don't let you use the internet for any personal things. They are paying you to work not play on the internet.
